What are Ruinous Souls?
Ruinous Souls are post-Moon Lord crafting materials that drop from the Polterghast, a powerful boss encountered in the Abyss. They are also sold by the Arc, an NPC who moves into town after defeating Polterghast.
Uses of Ruinous Souls
Ruinous Souls are used to craft a variety of powerful items, including:
- Bloodflare armor, a craftable post-Moon Lord armor set
- Numerous weapons
- Stratus, a mount
Obtaining Ruinous Souls
Ruinous Souls can be obtained by defeating Polterghast or by purchasing them from the Arc. Defeating Polterghast will also allow mini-bosses in the Abyss to drop Ruinous Souls.
Crafting Bloodflare Armor
To craft Bloodflare armor, you will need the following materials:
- Bloodstone Cores
- Ruinous Souls
- Body Armor Cuisses
The Body Armor Cuisses can be obtained by defeating the Lunatic Cultist.
Once you have the necessary materials, you can craft the Bloodflare armor set at a Forge.
