The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kit Manager to join our first team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day care and maintenance of all first-team kit, including training and match day wear.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fabrics and materials, as well as experience in the care and maintenance of sports equipment. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to meet the demands of a busy working environment.
The Kit Manager will report to the Head of Football Operations and will work closely with the first-team coaching staff and players.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day care and maintenance of all first-team kit, including training and match day wear
- Ensure that all kit is clean, pressed, and ready for use at all times
- Maintain an inventory of all kit and ensure that all items are accounted for
- Order new kit as required
- Work closely with the first-team coaching staff and players to ensure that all kit meets their needs
- Assist with the preparation of kit for travel
- Any other duties as required by the Head of Football Operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Kit Manager in a professional football environment
- Strong understanding of fabrics and materials
- Experience in the care and maintenance of sports equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet the demands of a busy working environment
